A beautiful lake like Duffy Lake next to Mills Lake is a glorious location to explore; Mills Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Charles Waters Memorial Campground is a nice local campground. Now, you may imagine that's a heap but       there's even more cool stuff to do here at Mills Lake. Anderson Creek is a splendid location to visit; you obtain a brilliant sight of Pyramid Buttes from here. For the period of the long summer days here at Mills Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Mills Lake drop into the 10's. A great nearby hotel                  is Missoula-Days Inn; going for a hike along the Sweeney Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Mills Lake is a beautiful lake in the Bitterroot Range. Having a brilliant time in the Bitterroot Range is easy. Why not stop by a swamp like Meadow Creek while you're here at Mills Lake, and a pleasant spot for whitewater paddling is Brushy Fork. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Lolo-Days Inn Missoula South/Blue Mountain is a great choice, and you don’t have to go far from Mills Lake to see the water at Holloway Lake Dam. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Mills Lake you can take a hike along the Mill Creek Trail; if you came to camp Fort Fizzle Campground is a fine location to do that. It is very dried out here at Mills Lake regularly; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is October.
