What a nice lake Mills Lake is. This lake is so wonderful. Pyramid Buttes is uncomplicated to spot from Mills Lake, and in case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Brushy Fork. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the Bitterroot Range has to offer. Dry warm beds await you at Missoula-Days Inn; hiking is a popular thing to do around Mills Lake; Carlton Lake Trail is a nice local trail. Mills

Mills Lake without first going for a hike along the Sweeney Ridge Trail. Summertime highs at Mills Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's while night lows are usually in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's; winter
nights come with lows in the 10's to Mills Lake. What a location this is for outdoors folks. A quick tour to Anderson Creek close to Mills Lake is a nice idea, and Holloway Lake Dam has pleasant water scenery. Swamps like Meadow Creek are fun to stop by, and there's good hiking along the Mill Creek Trail.
