What a nice lake Mike Horse is. This lake is located in the wonderful Lewis Range. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Lewis Range. Anaconda Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at, and there are some fine whitewater spots on Dearborn River. This lake is so wonderful. On a glorious day at Mike Horse you can take a hike along the Flesher Pass Trail, and Bean Lake Campground is a good campground nearby. This

| | lake is so wonderful. Near Mike Horse you locate the Caribou Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail; the Silver King Trail is a tremendous hiking trail nearby. All year is a nice time in the Lewis Range if you love the outdoors. A great location next to Mike Horse is Chambers Gulch, and fine skiing awaits you at Great Divide. February. Just can't get enough of Mike Horse. Mike Horse Mine Dam is an interesting thing to check out; do stop at Gravelly Range Lake, it's a pretty lake. You're sure to bump into some smiling people from Helena here, and if
you came for an overnight stay Aspen Grove Campground is a nice spot to camp. Summertime highs at Mike Horse mostly tend to be in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in
the 30's with temperatures at Mike Horse dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. The peak of Anaconda Hill can be distinguished from Mike Horse; you'll come across a pretty lake called Gravelly Range Lake.
