Very delightful water scenery is available at Mike Horse Mine Dam near Mike Horse, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Caribou Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Lewis Range. Really good skiing awaits you at Great Divide; Bean Lake Campground is a good campground nearby. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun stuff just       keep reading. At Mike Horse you can catch a glimpse of Anaconda Hill, and get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Dearborn River. Summer at Mike Horse comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are mostly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Mike Horse are in the 10's. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Lewis Range. Have a tremendous hiking adventure                  along the Flesher Pass Trail, and do visit Anaconda Creek if you're here at Mike Horse. Mike Horse is pretty dried up usually; the wettest month of the year is commonly June, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. So many exciting things in the Lewis Range, just tremendous. If you came for an overnight stay Aspen Grove Campground is a great place to camp; going for a hike along the Silver King Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
