Bowers Peak can be seen from Middle Thompson Lake; do take a hike on the Sipes Creek Trail. During the summertime months here at Middle Thompson Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while Middle Thompson Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. It is       very dry here at Middle Thompson Lake generally; November is the month that gets the most rain, and August is when it's the driest. Upper Thompson Lake is a fine lake in the neighborhood of Middle Thompson Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Slimmer Creek Trail. Camping is available                  at Happy's Inn and Resort, and Middle Thompson Lake is right by the Meadow Ridge Trail.
