What a nice lake Middle Quartz Lake is. Middle Quartz Lake gets very little precipitation; December is when you get the most snow here; April on the other hand is the driest. If only every site had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great earth it would be. If you need a place to stay Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a great choice. All through the summertime highs here at Middle Quartz Lake get into the 70's, and through the night it cools down to

| | the 40's. All through the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Middle Quartz Lake.
All year is a splendid time in the Lewis Range if you go for the outdoors. Middle Quartz Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Bowman Lake Campground is a fine local campground, and there's brilliant hiking along the Bowman Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. people, and don't leave Middle Quartz Lake without first going for a hike along the Quartz Lake Trail. Camping at Logging Creek Campground is always a wonderful experience; the Numa Ridge Lookout Trail offers hiking at its best.
The Lewis Range scenery is always beautiful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Flathead River - Middle Fork, and if you're looking for a splendid spree, Glacier National Park is reasonably near.
