    If you are in this part of Montana make sure to pay a visit to Middle Quartz Lake. So many entertaining things to do here in the Lewis Range, too tremendous to be true. If you come at the right time of year, Flathead River - Middle Fork offers some delightful whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Numa Ridge Lookout Trail; you can stay the night at Logging Creek Campground. This place, Middle Quartz Lake, it definitely has so much outdoors  
   enjoyable stuff. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Flathead River - Middle Fork, and dry warm beds await you at Glacier Park Super 8 Motel.
The Lewis Range scenery is always beautiful. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Middle Quartz Lake highs are mostly in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. During the winter the highs are usually in the 20's while Middle Quartz Lake night low temperatures during
 
               the wintertime are in the 0's. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Quartz Lake Trail; Bowman Lake Campground is a perfect campground nearby.
Man, is there heaps of enjoyable stuff to do in the Lewis Range. The views at Glacier National Park will blow your mind, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Quartz Lake. Middle Quartz Lake is pretty dried out generally; during the month of December you get the most snow around here, and the driest of the months is April. Lakes are great; Lower Quartz Lake is a lake that's near Middle Quartz Lake; Middle Quartz Lake is right by the Bowman Lake Trail.
