Middle Creek Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Wooden Shoe Creek flows through this vicinity, and going for a hike along the Hanging Valley National Recreation Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is one of the great places here in the Big Belt Mountains. Middle Creek Lake is a location that is rather dried up usually; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month of the year

The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Middle Creek Lake while night lows are frequently in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Middle Creek Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. who don’t like to have fun. After a long day outdoors Elkhorn Mountain Inn is a nice location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Hound Creek Reservoir is close by, and Middle Creek Lake Dam is a wonderful place, unquestionably worth visiting.
