    Merrell Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. It's a splendid idea to explore Canyon Creek, it's near Merrell Lake; if you came to camp Carbella Campground is a pleasant site to do that. There are good places to discover along the Sportsman Lake Trail, and since you're here at Merrell Lake it's a wonderful idea to have a look at Tom Miner Basin. You simply have to go for Merrell Lake. A good place for whitewater paddling in the  
   vicinity of Merrell Lake is Mulherin Creek, and if you need a site to stay Beede's Yellowstone River Rsrt is a splendid choice.
At Merrell Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Merrell Lake. One of the principal traits of the surroundings of Merrell Lake is Crystal Cross Mountain; the scenery at Merrell
 
               Dam is pretty.
This lake is so wonderful. You could also take a look at Ferrell Lake while you're here at Merrell Lake; it's nearby; Merrell Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Yankee Jim Campground and Picnic Area is a perfect local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Merrell Lake without first going for a hike along the Pole Gulch Trail, and you can run the rapids of Yellowstone River. Merrell Lake is regularly a quite dried out spot; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February.
Go for a hike on the Red Rock Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Absaroka Lodge.
