While you're here at Medicine Lake you can take a hike along the Hogback Ridge Trail, and Cow Camp Meadows is a stunning site any time of year. On a fine day at Medicine Lake you can take a hike along the Quigg Peak Trail, and Point Lookout is relatively close. Just can't get enough of Medicine Lake. Going for a hike along the Hi Line Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; Green Canyon Lake is       a nearby lake that you could visit. Medicine Lake gets very little precipitation; the month with most of the rain is June; October is the month with the least moisture. If you come at the right time of year, Rock Creek offers some great whitewater. There's so much to do here at Medicine Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mud Lake Campground is a pleasant place for that. High temperatures at Medicine Lake during the warm days of summer are in                  the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 40's. All through the winter highs are generally in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Medicine Lake. Best Western Hamilton Inn is a tremendous site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water nearby, Falls Creek is a stream you can explore during your stay.
