Meadow Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Near Meadow Lake you locate the Fort Steele Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail, and do set aside some time for Bootjack Meadow if you're here at Meadow Lake. Meadow Lake gets very little rainfall; the month with most of the rain is June, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Meadow Lake has to offer,

| | you can camp at Upper Whitefish Campground, and going for a hike on the Whitefish Divide-Smokey Range National Recreation Trail is always a splendid adventure.

nearby loves skiing at Big Mountain; there are some good whitewater spots on Stillwater River. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Meadow Lake; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Meadow Lake descend into the 10's.
