A visit to McKinley Lake is always a good idea. Why not take a refreshing hike along the BLue Mountain Nature Trail NRT, and you can hit the slopes at Marshall Mountain close at hand. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area near McKinley Lake has to offer. During your journey to McKinley Lake you'll meet some people from Missoula for sure, and camping is available at St Mary's Motel. A great nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express

winter nights come with lows in the 10's to McKinley Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around McKinley Lake; Blue Mountain Equestrian and Hiking Trail is a great local trail; unsurprisingly, this is a tremendous region for folks
who like lakes, Big Lake is a lake close by.
McKinley Lake Dam is a location that is close to McKinley Lake, and a good spot to camp here at McKinley Lake is Jellystone RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to
stay Hubbards Ponderosa Lodge is a great choice, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Montana Snowbowl. It is very waterless here at McKinley Lake commonly; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
