This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a good choice, and Flathead River - Middle Fork is a great whitewater spot close by. You completely ought to go for Lake McDonald. Stay the night at Stanton Creek Lodge, and a magnificent close by hotel is Bad Rock B&B. A glorious spot for whitewater paddling near Lake McDonald is Flathead River - Middle Fork, and hiking along the       South Boundary Trail is perfect fun. Lake McDonald is ordinarily a quite dried out location; most of the snow falls during December while April is frequently the driest month. There's so much to do here at Lake McDonald that you need to camp here for a while, Fish Creek Campground is a glorious place for that, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Glacier View Golf Club is in close proximity.
