This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything McDonald Lake has to offer, you can camp at McDonald Lake Campground; it's a wonderful idea to explore Eagle Pass Creek. Dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Port Polson Inn; McDonald Dam is a delightful location, definitely       worth a visit. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! McDonald Lake rocks! The Crow Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Montana Snowbowl. There's so much to do here at McDonald Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mission Falls Campground is a good site for that, and a lake close by is Ashley Lakes. Not much precipitation falls here at McDonald Lake; all through the month                  of June you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. During the months of summer here at McDonald Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 80's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's.
