McDonald Lake is a pleasant location to visit for more than one day, Mission Falls Campground is a pleasant location to camp nearby; you're in all probability into lakes, McDonald Lake is one of those nearby. So many enjoyable things to do here at McDonald Lake, too wonderful to be true. McDonald Lake Campground is a good local campground, and what would winter be without some skiing at Montana Snowbowl. A good close       by hotel is Twin Creeks Bed and Breakfast. Lakes are glorious; Ashley Lakes is a lake that's near McDonald Lake. You don’t have to go far from McDonald Lake to catch a sight of the water at McDonald Dam, and let's not forget Eagle Pass Creek which is a stream that you may bump into during your stay. McDonald Lake is a location that is pretty dehydrated mostly; the wettest month of the year is commonly June, that's the one that rains the most while February                  is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At McDonald Lake through the summertime highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's; overnight lows at McDonald Lake through the winter commonly drop into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
