A lake close by is Silvertip Reservoir, and a perfect nearby hotel is Guesthouse Intl Miles City. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of McClure Reservoir, you could also visit close by Papps Reservoir, and McClure Reservoir is right by the Calypso Trail. | |

This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. A wonderful place to camp here at McClure Reservoir is Diamond Campground, and do put some time aside to spend at Bootlegger Spring while you're here at McClure Reservoir.
McClure Reservoir is pretty dried up frequently; throughout June this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.

According to Harvey Wolff, NPLD event coordinator, volunteers gathered over 15 cubic yards of trash and rusty wire, later hauled to a nearby landfill for disposal.

Part of the project area included a foot-trail leading to the locally renowned ?Natural Bridges?, several horizontal sandstone monoliths exposed by erosion which span a ravine. The Natural Bridges were made famous in several photographs captured by Evelyn Cameron, British immigrant and photographer of Prairie County during the late 1800?s and early 1900?s.
