Going for a hike along the Gold Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and you'll stumble on a picturesque lake called Twin Lakes. May Lake is located in the Pioneer Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene locations, why not take a look at Pear Lake right next door to May Lake; from May Lake you obtain a good sight of Alturas                  Number Two Mountain. May Lake gets very little rain; June is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place!
