Airport is a brilliant choice. Getting to Cooper Creek from Marys Pond is easy, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Sweeney Ridge Trail. Marys Pond is a good site of typical precipitation; most of the snow falls through
January; July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Brushy Fork, and why not camp at Fort Lolo Hot Springs while you're here at Marys
Pond. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Bitterroot Range. You could also have a look at Skookum Lake while you're here at Marys Pond; it's nearby, and a delightful location to camp here at Marys Pond is Fort Fizzle Campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Bitterroot Range. This lake is so wonderful.
