The Lewis Range scenery is always beautiful. After a long day outdoors Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a fine place to spend a night or two. So many entertaining things to do in the Lewis Range, not sufficient time. Good hiking is available along the Gunsight Pass Trail; camping is available at Avalanche Campground. Bearhat Mountain can be made out from Mary Baker Lake, and Monument Falls is       an inspiring spot to stop at while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant journey to Avalanche Basin is a great way to spend an afternoon; going for a hike on the Hidden Lake Trail is always a delightful adventure. This spot, the Lewis Range, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. If you come at the right time of year, Flathead River - Middle Fork offers some delightful whitewater, and a fine place to visit is Comeau Pass.
