Martin Lakes is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. While you're here at Martin Lakes you can take a hike along the Oettiker Creek Trail, and here at Martin Lakes you can distinguish Dog Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Le Beau Creek; there's whitewater on Sunday Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. This lake is so wonderful. Really splendid skiing awaits you at Big Mountain.

And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool stuff just keep reading. Take a hike on the Fort Steele Trail; a good place to camp here at Martin Lakes is Upper Stillwater Campground. At Martin Lakes you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest.

Summertime highs at Martin Lakes ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Martin Lakes. A
tremendous close by hotel is Kristianna Mountain Homes, and Upper Stillwater Lake is a great lake nearby. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Stillwater River, and after a long day outdoors Big Mtn. Info. Center is a splendid place to spend a night or two.
