And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do next to Martin Lake. You need to explore The Crater since you're here at Martin Lake; the Boulder Lakes Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Martin Lake is glorious enough       to spend more than a day at, Lost Creek Campground is a glorious local campground, and why not take a little visit to South Fork Rock Creek if you're here. The scenery at Martin Lake Dam near Martin Lake is picturesque; why not take a refreshing hike along the Long Canyon Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Martin Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's.
