This lake is located in the wonderful Cabinet Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Silver Mountain Ski & Summer Resort; the vista of Alaska Peak is stunning. Martin Lake gets a normal amount of annual rain; most of the rain falls throughout November, and July on the other hand is the driest.
That right there is a lot already, but it keeps on going; Martin Lake has it all. Big Cherry Lake is a magnificent lake near Martin Lake.

| | You'll need more than a day to look at everything Martin Lake has to offer, you can camp at Howard Lake Campground. There is a good hiking trail in the vicinity of Martin Lake called the Old Daly Trail, and after a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Libby is a splendid site to spend a night or two. Go for a hike on the Berray Mountain Trail; paddling on Kootenai River is so much fun.

ski! Turner Mountain is a perfect place to do that, and there are other locations here than Martin Lake, for example Tahoka Lake. This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at Martin Lake through the summertime are in the 80's.
During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Martin Lake.
All year is a splendid time in the Cabinet Mountains if you go for
the outdoors. Going for a hike on the Engle Peak Trail is always a glorious adventure. There's so much to do here at Martin Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cabinet Mountain Conoco Campground is a fine site for that.
