Martin Lake is a nice lake to visit. All the outdoors cool stuff in the Absaroka Range will keep you coming back over and over. Martin Lake is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, Beartooth Lake Campground is a wonderful place to camp nearby, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. From a precipitation point of view Martin Lake is a quite common site; most of the rain falls through June, and October meanwhile is the

| | driest month. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. Yeah, come up here to the Absaroka Range for a nice time. Lakes are nice; Wright Lake is a lake that's close to Martin Lake, and the Upper Granite Loop Trail is a delightful hiking trail close by. Be careful coming to Martin Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clarks Fork | |

Yellowstone River, and there is a nice hiking trail close by called the Granite Loop Trail. The warmest time of the year at Martin Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into
the 30's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows during the winter for Martin Lake tend to be in the 0's. Near Martin Lake you find the Clay Butte Trail which is a great hiking trail, and since you might be in
a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Heart Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Top Of The World Campground; skiing at Red Lodge Mountain is one of those things you just have to do.
