On a great day at Martha Lake you can take a hike along the Graves Creek Trail, and why not camp at Lid Creek Campground since you're here at Martha Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Lewis Range. After a long day outdoors Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a pleasant site to spend a night or two; stopping by Glacier National Park is just something you need to do       if you haven't yet. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Lewis Range. Bridge Street Cottages is a good site to get some rest, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Wolf Creek Trail. You could also explore Picnic Lakes since you're here at Martha Lake; it's close by, and you can run the rapids of Flathead River - Middle Fork. Through the long summer days, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Martha Lake; the overnight is slightly cooler of                  course, regularly in the 50's. During the winter the highs are commonly in the 20's with temperatures at Martha Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Here at Martha Lake there are plenty of folks from Kalispell. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Martha Lake. Going for a hike along the Noisy Creek Notch Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and if you've had enough of Martha Lake, Black Lake is nearby. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Lewis Range. A fine spot like Jewel Basin here at Martha Lake is too great to miss; you get a perfect vista of Mount Aeneas from here. This lake is so wonderful. Handkerchief Lake Campground is a fine local campground, and there's whitewater on Swan River for all you adrenaline people.
