If you're visiting Margo Lake from Bozeman, you won't be the only one, and Margo Lake sits in the shade of the Spanish Peaks. Not much precipitation falls here at Margo Lake; most of the rain falls during May, and the driest month of the year is February. Here at Margo Lake you can see Spanish Peaks, and paddling on Madison River is so much fun. This place, Margo Lake, it truly has so much outdoors       exciting stuff. Lodge at Big Sky is a magnificent spot to get some rest, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Moonlight Basin is reasonably near. Get dripping wet paddling on Gallatin River; the snow is tremendous at Big Sky. Dry warm beds await you at River Rock Lodge, and Big Brother Lake is a splendid lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Castle Rock Inn. Through the warm months at Margo Lake highs are usually in the 70's.                  Summer night lows descend down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Margo Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
