The yearly precipitation here at Margaret Lake is about average; December is the wettest month with most snow; the driest month of the year is April. All year is a delightful time in the Lewis Range if you fancy the outdoors. Not far from Margaret Lake, you'll hit upon Helen Lake which is a charming lake, and why not take a little trip to Pyramid Creek if you're here. This lake is       so wonderful. At Margaret Lake you can distinguish Mount Kipp, and a great place to camp here at Margaret Lake is Avalanche Campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Lewis Range. Camping is available at Many Glacier Campground, and there's perfect hiking along the Stoney Indian Pass Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Lewis Range. If you come at the right time of year, Flathead River - Middle Fork offers some good whitewater,                  and hiking is a popular thing to do around Margaret Lake; Flattop Mountain Trail is a delightful local trail. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Mokowanis Lake It's always delightful to check out Ipasha Falls. This lake is so wonderful. Chaney Glacier is something you shouldn't miss since you're here at Margaret Lake. At Margaret Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Margaret Lake tend to be in the 10's. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the area in the neighborhood of Margaret Lake has to offer.
