Beautiful Margaret Lake has much to offer visitors. The amount of rain that falls at Margaret Lake is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily November, that's the one that rains the most while July is frequently the driest month. Margaret Lake truly is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. There are brilliant places to look at along the Peterson Creek Trail, and get soaked paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork. The Lewis Range scenery is always beautiful. High temperatures at Margaret Lake through the long summer days are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Highs throughout | |

the winter are generally in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Margaret Lake temperatures descend to the 10's.
A visit to Glacier National Park is recommended, and unsurprisingly, this is a great area for
folks who like lakes, Handkerchief Lake is a lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Handkerchief Lake Campground is always a great experience, and don't leave Margaret Lake without first going for a hike along the Pioneer
Ridge Trail. Man, is there heaps of exciting things to do in the Lewis Range. Go for a hike on the Aeneas Creek Trail, and a good close by hotel is Bridge Street Cottages.
