This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at MacDonald Pond through the summer months are in the 70's while overnight lows are typically in the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are mostly in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at MacDonald Pond. So many exciting things close to MacDonald Pond, absolutely extraordinary. Good hiking is available along the Myers Creek Trail, and do put some       time aside to spend at 1 Spring 13S01E29CAB while you're here at MacDonald Pond. Not much rainfall falls here at MacDonald Pond; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while February is frequently the driest month. Camping is available at Cliff Point Campground, and there's some flowing water close by, Hackett Creek is a stream you can visit while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect site to camp here at MacDonald Pond is                  Upper Lake Campground, and Widgeon Pond Dam is not far at all from MacDonald Pond. Don't leave MacDonald Pond without first going for a hike along the Taylor Creek Trail; paddling on Madison River is so much fun. Go for a hike on the Howard Creek Trail, and a lake nearby is Widgeon Pond.
