Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are truly plentiful here at MacDonald Pond. A quick visit to Hackett Creek close to MacDonald Pond is a tremendous idea, and don't leave MacDonald Pond without first going for a hike along the Myers Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. MacDonald Pond is a delightful place to visit for more than one day, Cliff Point Campground is a delightful       place to camp nearby, and not far from MacDonald Pond you acquire some good water scenery at Widgeon Pond Dam. MacDonald Pond is generally a pretty arid place; most of the rain falls during June; the driest of the months is February. A delightful close by hotel is Island Park Village Resort, and going for a hike on the Howard Creek Trail is always a fine adventure. Don't leave MacDonald Pond without first paying a visit to 1 Spring 13S01E29CAB, and Upper Lake                  Campground is a tremendous local campground. Through the warm days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at MacDonald Pond. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. Highs through the winter are frequently in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to MacDonald Pond.
