If you came for an overnight stay Logan Park Campground is a perfect place to camp, and Lower Thompson Lake is right by the Bar Z Trail. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Lower Thompson Lake. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. Through the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime       temperatures at Lower Thompson Lake fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel - St. Regis is a magnificent choice, and Lost Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun things the area in the neighborhood of Lower Thompson Lake has to offer. Take a side trip to Boiling Springs Creek. Lower Thompson Lake gets a normal amount of rain; the month with most                  of the snow is January, and July on the other hand is the driest.
