    In Montana there are many beautiful lakes, Lower Quartz Lake is one of them. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Lewis Range has to offer. On a tremendous day at Lower Quartz Lake you can take a hike along the Akokala Lake Trail, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork. Having a great time in the Lewis Range is easy. Lower Quartz Lake is not the only site close by, Middle  
   Quartz Lake is a close by lake, and Flathead River - Middle Fork is a good whitewater spot close by. At Lower Quartz Lake you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and the driest of the months is April.
This lake is so wonderful. Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a pleasant location to get some rest. A wonderful close by hotel is Kandahar Lodge, and you can stay the night at Bowman Lake Campground. While you're
 
               here at Lower Quartz Lake you can take a hike along the Numa Ridge Lookout Trail; the skiing at Big Mountain is perfect.

During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Lower Quartz Lake tend to be in the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Quartz Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. There's so much to do here at Lower Quartz Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Logging Creek Campground is a magnificent spot for that.
