This lake is so wonderful. Jim Lakes Basin is a delightful place. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lower Cold Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cedar Creek Campground. Lower Cold Lake is pretty dried up frequently; the month with most of the rain       is June while February is commonly the driest month. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Take a hike on the Wire Trail, as expected you could also stop by Upper Cold Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. For the duration of the summertime at Lower Cold Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's, and                  nighttime lows all through the winter for Lower Cold Lake tend to be in the 20's. Lower Cold Lake is right by the Crow Creek Trail, and a day on the slopes of Montana Snowbowl is just what you need. Nearby lakes?
