Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Pulpit Mountain National Recreation Trail; a stunning lake like Sky Lakes is a brilliant site to check out. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Kootenai River, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Turner Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Yaak       River. There's so much to do here at Lower Cedar Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Dorr Skeels Campground is a pleasant place for that. Throughout the warm months at Lower Cedar Lake highs are regularly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are usually in the 30's, and overnight lows at Lower Cedar Lake during the winter regularly drop into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Dome                  Mountain is painless to spot from Lower Cedar Lake, and a delightful nearby hotel is Best Western Kootenai River Inn & Casino. Yeah, come here to Lower Cedar Lake for a fine time. Take a hike on the Crowell Trail; if you came to camp Kootenai River Camp Ground is a tremendous location to do that. Lower Cedar Lake gets a normal amount of rain; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest of the months is July.
