Through the winter the highs are commonly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lower Boulder Lake are in the 0's. The Louise Lake National Recreation Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close to Lower Boulder Lake, and Lower Boulder Lake is in the neighborhood of Low Pass which is without doubt worth going to. This lake is so wonderful.
