In Montana there are many beautiful lakes, Lower Arch Lake is one of them. So much amusing stuff to do in the Absaroka Range, not enough time. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Rosebud Creek - West; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Arch Lake. What a place this is for outdoors folks. The panorama of Mount Hole-in-the-Wall from Lower Arch Lake is lovely; do take a hike on the Lake

Through the months of summer at Lower Arch Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 30's. Get your heart beating on the glorious whitewater of Rosebud Creek - East; if you need a location to
stay Big Moose Resort is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. Granite Creek is a delightful place to stop by. There's so much to do here at Lower Arch Lake that you need to camp here for a while, East Rosebud Campground
is a great place for that.
This location, the Absaroka Range, has so much outdoors fun stuff. Hiking along the Copeland Lake Trail is wonderful fun, and Cary Inn is a pleasant site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
Lower Arch Lake is right by the Crazy Mountain Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lower Arch Lake has to offer, you can camp at Emerald Lake Campground.
