The Bozeman Trail offers hiking at its best, and Rosebud Creek - West is a brilliant whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Red Lodge Mountain, and if you get bored of Lost Lake you could also stop by nearby Heart Lake. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Hiking along the Crazy Mountain Trail is perfect fun; if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling

| | on Stillwater River. Twin Lakes is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and camping at Pine Grove Campground is always a pleasant experience. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. Just can't get enough of the Absaroka Range. Lost Lake is right by the Black Butte Trail, and Lost Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Emerald Lake Campground is a tremendous local campground. enjoyable things to do in the Absaroka Range. Through the summer months, highs typically are in the 80's at Lost Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are usually in the 30's; nighttime
lows in the 10's for Lost Lake. At Lost Lake you don’t see much rainfall; most of the rain falls through May while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
