In Montana there are many beautiful lakes, Lost Lake is one of them. During the summer months here at Lost Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Lost Lake plunge into the 10's. Now, you may imagine that's lots but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Lost

| | Lake. Rosebud Creek - West is a delightful whitewater spot near Lost Lake; don't leave Lost Lake without first going for a hike along the Crazy Mountain Trail. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Absaroka Range. Camping is available at Emerald Lake Campground, and there are great locations to explore along the Bozeman Trail. Range. Twin Lakes is a nearby lake that you could explore; you can go for a hike on the Black Butte Trail. Around Lost Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February
is when it's the driest. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Stillwater River; good skiing awaits you at Red Lodge Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Pine Grove Campground if you're here at Lost Lake, and a lake nearby is Heart Lake.
