     Here at Lost Lake you can catch a sight of Daughter of the Sun Mountain; at Lost Lake you always meet someone from Missoula. Everybody close by loves skiing at Montana Snowbowl; Cedar Campground is a magnificent local campground. This lake is so wonderful. There is a wonderful hiking trail right next door to Lost Lake called the Crow Creek Trail, and lakes are such calm sites, why not pop by Seepela Lake. A delightful lake like High Park Lake near Lost Lake  
   is a pleasant location to stop by, and some out of the ordinary geology is available here, Mountaineer Glacier is right here.
This lake is so wonderful. A splendid location in the neighborhood of Lost Lake is Goat Pass; Lost Lake is a good location to visit for more than one day, Twin Campground is a good location to camp nearby. Through the warm months highs here at Lost Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's.
 
               During the winter highs are in the 30's; overnight lows through the winter for Lost Lake tend to be in the 20's. Going for a hike on the Foothills Trail is always a great adventure, and don't leave Lost Lake without first paying a visit to Giant Spring.
And that's not all you can do here at Lost Lake. Gotta ski! Marshall Mountain is a magnificent place to do that, and Twin Creeks Bed and Breakfast is a great spot to get some rest. After a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Port Polson Inn is a splendid location to spend a night or two. Around Lost Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is generally June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February.
