The beauty of Lost Lake is reason enough to stop by. During the summer months highs here at Lost Lake reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lost Lake sink into the 10's. The yearly rainfall here at Lost Lake is about average; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow while April

Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Lost Lake. by Going-to-the-Sun Point is a fine idea, and if you come at the right time of year, Flathead River - Middle Fork offers some great whitewater. Baring Falls is an inspiring place to stop at while you're here, and you get a glorious
panorama of Goat Mountain from here. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Rising Sun Campground; of course, A journey to Sunrift Gorge is always fun. Going for a hike on the Water Ouzel Trail is always a nice adventure, and do take a look at Goat Lake, it's a striking lake.
