Lakes are perfect; Skags Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Lost Lake, and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Swan River. Camping at Edgewater Resort and Campground is always a good experience, and at Lost Lake you always meet someone from Kalispell. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Lost Lake. Not far from Lost Lake, you'll hit upon Webb Lake which is a stunning lake, and the skiing       at Blacktail Mountain is wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a magnificent location to get some rest; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Flathead River. Lost Lake is pretty dried out generally; most of the rain falls during June while October is frequently the driest month. For the duration of the summertime here at Lost Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's. When the                  night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lost Lake.
