Lost Coon Lake is a nice lake to visit. If you need a site to stay Grouse Mountain Lodge is a delightful choice. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lost Coon Lake has to offer, you can camp at Whitefish RV Park. Here at Lost Coon Lake you'll probably meet some folks from Kalispell, and Big Mountain is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. If you're here at Lost Coon Lake, do take a visit to Bay Point, and Flathead River - Middle Fork is a great whitewater spot close by. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. that; in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Stillwater River. Head up to Blacktail Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and since you're here and you like golf, you can pop
by Whitefish Lake Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. This is a great area for folks who like lakes. Blanchard Lake is a lake around here, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Whitefish Divide-Smokey Range National Recreation
Trail. Lost Coon Lake gets very little precipitation; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while October is regularly the driest month. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lost Coon Lake while overnight lows are
ordinarily in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's; nighttime lows at Lost Coon Lake throughout the winter commonly plunge into the 10's.
