During the summer months here at Loon Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's; overnight lows through the wintertime for Loon Lake tend to be in the 10's. What a location this is for outdoors people. While you're here at Loon Lake you can take a hike along the Holland       Falls National Recreation Trail. Camping at Holland Lake Campground is always a pleasant experience, and dry warm beds await you at Bridge Street Cottages. Visit Kraft Creek since you're here at Loon Lake, and if you're here, you could also check out charming Cygnet Lake. On a wonderful day at Loon Lake you can take a hike along the Smith Creek Trail, and do stop at Stoner Lake, it's a delightful lake. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along                  the Foothills Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and if you came to camp Lindbergh Campground is a fine site to do that.
