Don't forget to take a magnificent little trip to Kraft Creek. Loon Lake is a good site of typical precipitation; December is the month that gets the most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. Loon Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Holland Lake Campground is a magnificent local campground; on a fine day you can take a hike along the Smith Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful.       There's so much to do here at Loon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lindbergh Campground is a pleasant site for that, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Holland Falls National Recreation Trail. If you need a location to stay Bridge Street Cottages is a splendid choice; going for a hike along the Foothills Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Loon Lake, and through the night                  it cools down to the 40's.
