After a long day outdoors Best Western White Oak Grand is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and Flathead Valley is a wonderful place here at Loon Lake. Near Loon Lake you hit upon the Peterson Creek Trail which is a glorious hiking trail, and a pleasant spot to camp here at Loon Lake is Outback Montana RV/Tent Campground. There is a glorious hiking trail       near Loon Lake called the Wolf Creek Trail; Loon Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Woods Bay Marina and RV Park is a great local campground. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are in fact abundant here at Loon Lake. On a splendid day it's a wonderful idea to spend the day at Long Beach. Lakes are good; Estes Lake is a lake that's next to Loon Lake. Glacier National Park is a delightful site near Loon Lake, and a wonderful close by hotel is Bridge                  Street Cottages. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Noisy Creek Notch Trail is always a brilliant adventure; as expected, this is a great area for folks who like lakes, Horseshoe Lake is a lake close by. Summertime highs at Loon Lake typically tend to be in the 70's while overnight lows are frequently in the 40's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Loon Lake are in the 10's. Loon Lake gets very little rainfall; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain; February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
