Long Bow Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Long Bow Lake is a location that is rather dehydrated typically; the month with most of the snow is December while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork is so much fun, and what would winter be without some skiing at Big Mountain. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop

Bowman Lake Campground is a delightful local campground, and don't leave Long Bow Lake without first going for a hike along the Akokala Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Ridge Lookout Trail. Man, is there a lot of cool stuff to do in the Lewis Range. From Long Bow Lake you obtain a nice sight of Reuter Peak. Long Bow Lake is a good location to visit for more than one day, Bowman Creek Campground
is a good location to camp nearby, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Long Bow Lake; Quartz Lake Trail is a delightful local trail. Through the warmest time of the year, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Long Bow Lake. When
the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Long Bow Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Long Bow Lake is one of the lakes here in the Lewis Range.
