The Quartz Lake Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close to Long Bow Lake, and a beautiful lake like Upper Kintla Lake is a perfect spot to go to. On a beautiful day you get a vista of Reuter Peak from Long Bow Lake, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Akokala Lake Trail. Long Bow Lake is a beautiful lake in the Lewis Range. Having a great time       in the Lewis Range is painless. If the weather is good here at Long Bow Lake, you can go for a hike along the Numa Ridge Lookout Trail. Get wet paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork, and what would a site like Long Bow Lake be without exciting close by marks like Harris Glacier. If you adore the outdoors, you'll go for Long Bow Lake. Why not camp at Bowman Creek Campground if you're here at Long Bow Lake, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Big Mountain                  is relatively near. Long Bow Lake gets very little rainfall; December is the month that gets the most snow while April is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A great spot to camp here at Long Bow Lake is Bowman Lake Campground, and lakes are such serene places, why not stop at Akokala Lake. At Long Bow Lake all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
