Really delightful skiing awaits you at Red Lodge Mountain; dry warm beds await you at Big Moose Resort. But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. From Lonesome Lake you obtain a delightful panorama of Lonesome Mountain.

This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is brilliant here at Lonesome Lake, you can go for a hike along the Beartooth Highlakes Trail, and why not camp at Island Lake Campground if you're here at Lonesome Lake.
A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Lonesome Lake; during the month of June you get the most rain around here, and October meanwhile is the driest month. Having a delightful time in the Absaroka Range is simple. There is a good
hiking trail in close proximity to Lonesome Lake called the Clay Butte Trail, and camping is available at Beartooth Lake Campground.
