Lonely Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Lewis Range. During the summer months at Lonely Lakes highs are typically in the 70's. Summer night lows drop down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lonely Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the South Shore Trail is tremendous fun, and Swift Current Motor Inn is a good spot to get some rest.       Stay the night at Two Medicine Campground, and if you need a spot to stay Rising Sun Motor Inn is a nice choice. All the outdoors amusing things in the neighborhood of Lonely Lakes will keep you coming back many times. You can run the rapids of Bear Creek in the vicinity of Lonely Lakes; do take a hike on the Dry Fork Trail. Not much precipitation falls here at Lonely Lakes; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain; the driest month is                  February. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing things the Lewis Range has to offer. Glacier National Park is one of the destinations in the vicinity of Lonely Lakes that are great to go to. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! The Lewis Range rules! Basin Mountain is gorgeous and can be seen from Lonely Lakes. There's so much to do here at Lonely Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Cut Bank Campground is a good location for that.
