There's great hiking along the Mountain Meadow Trail, and Hodge Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting. Good hiking is available along the Reid Divide Trail, and paddling on Stillwater River is so much fun. You can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Blacktail Mountain. Summer at Lone Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down       into the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Lone Lake temperatures drop to the 10's. Lone Lake is pretty dried up mostly; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Kristianna Mountain Homes is a great place to get some rest, and camping at Lone Lake is brilliant fun, Ashley Lake Campground is a brilliant local campground. And                  if that's not enough, there's loads more to do next to Lone Lake. Lone Lake is a wonderful place to camp, Rest-A-Day Campground is a wonderful place, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites KALISPELL.
