Lone Lake is a nice lake to visit. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lone Lake. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. Highs throughout the winter are commonly in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Lone Lake plunge into the 10's. If you come at the right time of year, Stillwater River offers some glorious whitewater, and you can go for a hike on the Reid Divide Trail. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Camping at Ashley Lake Campground is always a perfect experience, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites KALISPELL is a perfect choice. Be careful coming to Lone Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. Going for a hike on the Logan Creek Trail is always a splendid adventure, and there are other places here than Lone Lake, for example Ashley Lake. wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. The slopes of Blacktail Mountain are so inviting noone can resist. Lakes? Sure, Lake Monroe is in close proximity. Dry warm beds await you at Kristianna Mountain
Homes; while you're here, you could explore Hodge Creek. Camping is available at Rest-A-Day Campground, and fine hiking is available along the Mountain Meadow Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
