White Sand Creek is a good whitewater spot close to Lomo Lake; tremendous water scenery is available at High Lake Dam in the vicinity of Lomo Lake. These mountains rock, just check out all the amusing stuff to do in the       Bitterroot Range. Camping at Schumaker Campground is always a good experience, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Saint Mary Peak Trail. For the period of the warm days of summer here at Lomo Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Lomo Lake. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up.                  Camping is available at Blodgett Canyon Campground, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Hamilton is a tremendous location to spend a night or two. Lost Trail has fine slopes and a friendly staff, and the top of Canyon Peak is easily made out from Lomo Lake. An average amount of rainfall falls at Lomo Lake; the wettest month of the year is mostly January, that's the one that snows the most while July is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Lomo Lake, you'll hit upon Ingomar Lake which is a delightful lake; the Ward Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful.
