Lomna Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. A delightful spot to camp here at Lomna Lake is Cabin Creek Campground; if you're here, you could also check out beautiful Turquoise Lake. Just can't get enough of Lomna Lake. If you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort West Yellowstone Conference is a good choice, and Lookout Point is very near and is a great place to stop by. During the warm days of summer, highs commonly
are in the 80's at Lomna Lake. Summer night lows sink down to the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's with temperatures at Lomna Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lomna Lake; Wapiti Creek Trail is a nice local trail, and Madison River is a splendid whitewater spot nearby. Lomna Lake gets very little rainfall; June is the month that gets the most rain,

and the driest month of the year is January. So many fun things to do at Lomna Lake, so little time.
Take a hike on the Little Wapiti Creek Trail, and why not camp at Beaver Creek Campground 2 if you're here at Lomna Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Wapiti Ridge Trail, and why not head up to Big Sky and strap some skis to your feet. Park Condos is a magnificent site to get some rest; in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Madison River.
This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Pika Point can be made out from Lomna Lake, and Park Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Moonlight Basin, and a trip to Carrot Basin rejuvenates the soul.

There?s this really neat hike a few miles away from us in Big Sky.
