     Summertime highs at Logging Lake typically tend to be in the 70's, and the overnight is a little cooler of course, frequently in the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Logging Lake. So many amusing things to do in the Lewis Range, not enough time. While you're here at Logging Lake you can take a hike along the West Lakes Trail. Glacier National Park is a fine local destination  
   here at Logging Lake, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not check out Quartz Lake.
At Logging Lake you don’t see much rain; during the month of December you get the most snow around here, and the driest month is April. On a great day at Logging Lake you can take a hike along the Quartz Lake Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Big Creek Campground is a magnificent spot to camp. All the outdoors cool things in the vicinity of Logging Lake will keep
 
               you coming back persistently. The Bowman Lake Trail is a good hiking trail in the neighborhood of Logging Lake; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Flathead River - Middle Fork.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Logging Creek Campground since you're here at Logging Lake, and if you need a place to stay Bad Rock B&B is a good choice. This spot, the Lewis Range, has so much outdoors cool stuff. A beautiful lake like Middle Quartz Lake in close proximity to Logging Lake is a glorious site to check out, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Glacier Park/Columbia Falls. This lake is located in the wonderful Lewis Range.

Fabulously beautiful area, dense grizzly population and zero people.  Not too hard to get to crossing Flattop on bits of an obsolete trail from Fifty Mountain, then skirt along the open hills sides near Trapper Peak.  One scary steep hardpan ravine must be crossed where a slip would send you plunging 1000 feet down to Lake Nahsukin.  An axe would be helpful, otherwise just run real fast so your momentum will carry you to good footing on the far side....
