If you are in Ravalli county it's always a good idea to stop by Lockwood Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are perfect locations to explore along the Saint Mary Peak Trail, and if you need a place to stay Remlc's City Center Motel Annex is a magnificent choice. There's so much to do here at Lockwood Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bear Creek Pass Campground is a great place for that, and paddling on White Sand Creek is so much fun. If you

| | want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Bitterroot Range. Going for a hike on the Ward Mountain Trail is always a great adventure, and get wet paddling on Big Sand Creek.

enjoyable things to do in the Bitterroot Range. Angler's Lodge is a great location to get some rest, and if you get bored of Lockwood Lake you could also explore nearby Fred Burr Lake. An average amount of rain falls at Lockwood Lake;
January is when you get the most snow here while July is usually the driest month.
Don't leave Lockwood Lake without first going for a hike along the Lee Ridge Trail, and Lost Trail is a very popular ski area around here. This
lake is so wonderful. A quick tour to Frog Creek close to Lockwood Lake is a great idea. Lockwood Lake is one of the lakes here in the Bitterroot Range.
There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Lockwood Lake. Lockwood
Lake is near Fred Burr Lake Dam which is a gorgeous place beyond doubt worth stopping at. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lockwood Lake has to offer, you can camp at Schumaker Campground.
