Nearby lakes? Sure, Albino Lake is in close proximity to Lizard Lakes; paddling on Madison River is so much fun. Get drenched paddling on Gallatin River; Lizard Lakes is right by the Lightning Creek Trail. Summertime at Lizard Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. McGill Campground is a great site to camp nearby, and hiking along the Wapiti Creek Trail is pleasant fun. If you need a place to stay Park Condos is a magnificent choice. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lizard Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Buffalo Horn Campground.
