Liver Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Absaroka Range. The Upper Granite Loop Trail is a magnificent hiking trail near Liver Lake; whitewater paddling is nice on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. | | feel that's a load but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Liver Lake. Ghost Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and if you came for an overnight stay Top Of The World Campground is a glorious site to camp.
This site, the Absaroka Range, has so much outdoors exciting things. This lake is so wonderful. Near Liver Lake you hit upon the Clay Butte Trail which is a fine hiking trail; you can hit the slopes at Red Lodge Mountain close by. | |

Through the summer months here at Liver Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 30's. All through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 20's while Liver
Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 0's.
Do check out Kidney Lake in the neighborhood of Liver Lake, it's a beautiful lake, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater
paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. There is a pleasant hiking trail close to Liver Lake called the Granite Loop Trail, and why not camp at Beartooth Lake Campground since you're here at Liver Lake. Liver Lake is a beautiful lake in the Absaroka Range.
