Don't leave Little Sparr Lake without first going for a hike along the Goat Mountain Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Spar Lake Campground is a magnificent place to camp. This lake is one of the great places here in the Cabinet Mountains. Little Sparr Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; January is when you       get the most snow here; July meanwhile is the driest month. But wait, there's more to do close to Little Sparr Lake. Glide down the rapids of Couer d'Alene River - Big North Fork in a kayak, and after a long day outdoors Clark Fork Lodge is a perfect place to spend a night or two. Going for a hike on the Ross Creek Pack Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and East Fork Public Campground is a splendid campground here. Summertime highs at Little Sparr                  Lake usually tend to be in the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Little Sparr Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Cabinet Mountains, not enough time. This lake is so wonderful. There are great locations to explore along the South Fork Ross Creek Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Hotel Hope.
