This lake is so wonderful. A good place for whitewater paddling near Little Sparr Lake is Yaak River; Savage Mountain can be observed from Little Sparr Lake. Not far from Little Sparr Lake, you'll locate Spar Lake which is a pretty lake, and going for a hike on the Ross Creek Pack Trail is always a pleasant adventure. An average amount of rainfall falls at Little Sparr Lake; the       month with most of the snow is January, and July is the month with the least moisture. Go for a hike on the Goat Mountain Trail; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Spruce Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Cabinet Mountains. Through the summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Little Sparr Lake. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter                  are in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Little Sparr Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you came to camp East Fork Public Campground is a great location to do that, and everybody close by loves skiing at Silver Mountain. So many amusing things in the Cabinet Mountains, just amazing. There's so much to do here at Little Sparr Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Spar Lake Campground is a brilliant location for that. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Cabinet Mountains.
