If you like lakes and you're in this part of Montana you can check out Little Scat Lake. There are magnificent places to discover along the Crazy Mountain Trail, and it's a fine idea to stop by Falls Creek. Just can't get enough of Little Scat Lake. Camping is available at East Rosebud Campground, and you can go for a hike on the Copeland Lake Trail. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rosebud Creek - West, of

This lake is so wonderful. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Little Scat Lake, and the night is rather colder of course, commonly in the 30's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Little Scat Lake are in the 0's. Little Scat Lake is located in the Absaroka Range. This lake is so wonderful. Rosebud Creek - East has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby, and if you came for an
overnight stay Emerald Lake Campground is a wonderful place to camp. All year is a nice time in the Absaroka Range if you have a thing about the outdoors. The skiing at Red Lodge Mountain is glorious, and fine hiking is available
along the Lake Reno Trail.
So many exciting things to do here in the Absaroka Range, too fine to be true. Charlie Falls is a tremendous local attraction; on a delightful day you obtain a tremendous sight of Snowbank Mountain from Little Scat Lake.
