The annual rainfall here at Little Rock Creek Lake is about average; most of the snow falls during January, and July is when it's the driest. From Little Rock Creek Lake you obtain a good sight of Como Peaks; Goat Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Old Nez Perce Indian Trail; skiing at Lost Trail is one of those things you just should do. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bitterroot Range.

Tag Alder Lake
 | 13 miles away I venture up to Tag Alder every year. It is getting more and more difficult to get up there because of the new growth of trees from the fires of 2000. Once there it is beautiful lake. Another half hour hike up and you will be at the summit of the mountain. There is a nice camp area on North shore. Fishing is best in late spring using small spinners or powerbait.... |
